Click on this link for information about the RTA Pass Travel Times Get Routine in Grafton TownshipSince Grafton Township launched its senior bus program several years ago, residents 55 plus have known that they will have a ride to the grocery store or to doctor appointments. Now they will know exactly when some of these rides will happen. The Senior Transportation Program will begin November 2nd, following a more rigid schedule which Grafton Township Supervisor Moore said will streamline the program and decrease operating costs. After reviewing the idea with the newly formed Grafton Township Transportation Advisory Committee, trips to Jewel and Walmart will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Previously, seniors could call the township office and schedule a time to be picked up individually and be driven wherever they needed to go, within a certain areas for $1.00 to $3.00 each way. If seniors have needs other than shopping at Jewel or Walmart they can schedule rides Monday through Friday between 9 am to 3:30 pm except Tuesday or Thursday mornings. Pick-up times for Jewel or Walmart begin at 9am on Tuesday and Thursday morning. Seniors can call to schedule rides for shopping or other needs between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday by dialing the Grafton Township Supervisor's Office at 1-847-669-8500.
